The Singapore Fintech Festival 2021 is now currently live and will be running for 5 days from 8 November 2021 – 12 November 2021. SFF 2021 is the 6th annual event in its series organized by MAS. The participants will be talking about the development of financial services, public policy and technology.

My friend first told me about the event. However, I switched off once I saw that I had to pay for a ticket. Fortunately, Tiger Brokers sent me an email this morning with a code to get free tickets.

Vast Range Of Topics

There are many topics that you can filter through and look at the different events that might interest you under the “Programme > Conference” tab. There is the date and the time which you can bookmark and come back at a later time. Here are some topics that I find interesting.

  • Biometrics
  • Blockchain

My Thoughts On Singapore Fintech Festival 2021

I clicked around and listened to some of the talks on blockchain which can be a bit confusing as I did not join at the beginning of the speeches. Tbh, some of them are just advertising for their own products. It will be better to join those discussion panels instead.

Not sure if I am old or if the ui and ux are bad but I find it difficult to navigate. I guess this is how conferences work in real life. There are multiple talks going on at the same time but I think it can be quite messy when done online.

TL, DR

The Singapore Fintech Festival is currently underway from 8 November 2021 – 12 November 2021. You can get free tickets by using the code TBSFF_CONF at this link. There are many interesting topics available and you can filter by topic to locate the conferences you would like to join.
