An Evening of Classical Violin Favourites
Description: Aged 7 – 18 years old, six talented young students of Meah Violin Studio present a repertoire of cornerstone violin works, featuring pieces by Handel, Vivaldi and Carl Bohm as well as selected movements of Kuchler and Rieding concertinos. Together with pianist Beatrice Lin, the evening will be wrapped up with Monti’s Czardas as well as a catchy ensemble piece, Molto Mambo, by Loreta Fin. This debut performance at the Esplanade Concourse acts as a welcome respite from their hectic school life!

Tour of Gallop Extension

The Game of Stacking Voices
Description: The pandemic made singing a real challenge for young a cappella groups over the last two years, especially since online meeting tools are limited in their ability to replicate real-time ensemble singing. As a result, new ideas were incubated on how to produce music using the human voice. To navigate and overcome these circumstances, ITE’s That Acappella Group (TAG) have honed their skills in stacking human voices to be combined post-recording. TAG is now looking forward to adjusting back to live (and real life), communicating to the audience directly with their voice.

Life is Sweet: Ang Ku Kueh Girl Exhibition
Description: These illustrations were inspired by Wang Shijia’s reflections on life’s joys and struggles. But don’t mistake Ang Ku Kueh Girl for her creator! Ang Ku Kueh Girl is determined, persistent and a thankful optimist; Shijia aspires to be like her!
Many of these illustrations have been published before. They have since been updated with new details and colours. Shijia also added traditional Chinese motifs to convey her well wishes for visitors.
