Upcycling Zipper Pouch | Eco-Science Upcycling Workshop

Description: In this 90-minute physical session, we will discuss the prevalent usage of single-use plastic in our everyday lives and its negative impact on the environment. Participants will then learn how to repurpose used plastic packaging into nifty zipper pouches, without any sewing required.

Fresh Off The Block 21/22 – The Finals

Description: Root for the freshest rappers and beatmakers in Singapore at the annual hip hop competition Fresh Off The Block.

Fresh Off The Block is an annual hip hop competition in search of the freshest rapper and beatmaker in Singapore. Rappers and beatmakers from each side of Singapore will be performing an original song made for the finals. Guest performer San The Wordsmith was the last year’s Fresh Off The Block winner, and will be performing his original tracks this year. RECKLE$$ is a hip hop group of six that has been making waves in both Singapore and Malaysia’s market with their hit SERUAN. They will be performing their new tracks exclusively at the competition.

Tour of Gallop Extension

Description: Join us for a guided walk through the Gallop Extension of the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Visit the OCBC Arboretum and a section of the Mingxin Foundation Rambler’s Ridge.

Music of The Northern Malay Archipelago

Description: Genbano presents the rich music legacy of the northern Malay archipelago through the traditional Malay musical instruments, the serunai and gendang. This Is What We Eat at Home

Description: Mealtimes at home are not only a time for eating. They are also about creating memories together, intertwined with knowledge passed down from one generation to the next, where elders and children invest in each other with care.

This is What We Eat at Home is a participatory photography project featuring 12 children and youths from very diverse households in Boon Lay. Life is Sweet: Ang Ku Kueh Girl Exhibition

Description: These illustrations were inspired by Wang Shijia’s reflections on life’s joys and struggles. But don’t mistake Ang Ku Kueh Girl for her creator! Ang Ku Kueh Girl is determined, persistent and a thankful optimist; Shijia aspires to be like her!

Many of these illustrations have been published before. They have since been updated with new details and colours. Shijia also added traditional Chinese motifs to convey her well wishes for visitors.
