Entre viento y cuerdas – Between wind and strings
Description: Rodrigo Parejo is an adventurous and multifaceted Spanish jazz flutist constantly in movement between Europe and Asia. He performs regularly in different international festivals and prestigious jazz clubs and theatres, across various scenes and genres such as jazz, world music, dance, wellness and experimental improvised music.

Latin Night: Ireson Latin Band and Friends
Description: Mexican pianist and composer Alina Ramirez and bassist, guitarist, composer and arranger Mario Lopez founded Ireson in 1991. Discovery Walk around
Description: Join us for a leisure walk around the neighbourhood of Choa Chua Kang, led by our local residents!
This community-led trail is co-planned with two volunteers, who are experienced and passionate to kickstart a neighbourhood walk with adults/seniors. We hope to spread the love for walks through participants’ sharing and discoveries of interesting highlights, beautiful nature and delicious food as we aim to comb through different routes and corners of Choa Chu Kang.
Our trail stops include places between Choa Chu Kang Park, the PCN and the Teck Whye area. We will end our journey at one of the coffee shops in Teck Whye where we can “feast” and chat, and perhaps form new friendships. You may then leave from this last stop, if you wish.

Nian Hua: Of Deities, Guardians and Auspicious Art
Description: Nian Hua: Of Deities, Guardians and Auspicious Art is a collaboration with the Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum and showcases new year prints produced in China from the Qing dynasty to the 1980s. A close examination of the iconography of these prints, which are deeply rooted in popular beliefs and folk customs, provides insights into the rarely-documented attitudes and values of the common people in China.
