Free Stuff To Do On SG Clean Day – Travel Quest

Travel Quest, organized by the Public Hygiene Council and SG CLEAN, will be happening on Sunday, 12 February 2023 from 8:30am to 12.30pm, starting at Tampines MRT Sation and ending at Jurong East Bus Interchange. Registration will start at 7:30am.

This event is held in conjunction with SG Clean Day, a day without cleaners.

SG Clean Day is where all Town Councils and partners will cease sweeping at selected areas of participating housing estates, public parks, attractions, reservoirs, shopping malls for a day. The goal is to highlight the amount of litter there will be when we go without cleaners, helping us appreciate our cleaners more.

What To Expect

Get ready for a 4-hour session filled with fun activities while picking up litter. Travel Quest hopes to inspire attendees to adopt a sustainable lifestyle and play their part towards a truly clean Singapore. It also aims to inspire participants to take ownership in keeping public spaces in Singapore, such as our public transport nodes, clean.

Travelling From Tampines To Jurong East

The day will start at Tampines MRT Station and it will end at Jurong East Bus Interchange. There will be a total of 7 stations.

  • Pasir Ris Bus Interchange
  • Paya Lebar MRT Station
  • Serangoon MRT Station
  • Bishan Bus Interchange
  • Woodlands Integrated Hub
  • Jurong East Bus Interchange

Fun Activities At Each Stop

There will be fun activities for participants to be completed at each stop.

Free Goody Bag & Other Stuff

Attendees will receive a preloaded special edition S$10 EZ-Link Card, a limited edition Supermons cap and an Activity Sheet at the start of the event.

The EZ-Link card will be used to travel to each of the stations.

By completing all 6 challenges at the various stops, each participant can also redeem an exclusive goody bag.

What To Prepare

This is a list of what to prepare for the event

  • Register your interest here
  • Be dressed in comfortable attire and footwear
  • Used plastic bags to collect litter (any plastic bag will do)
  • Gloves
  • Bring your own water. Food is also not provided at the event
  • Raincoat or umbrella, in case it rains

The event has only 200 slots so please register online early. You can do so here.

Please note that the main registrant must be 18 years old and older.

Participants below the age of 18 must be accompanied by the main registrant (18 years old and older).

Time: 0830 – 1230

Physical Registration: 0730 (You will need to register online first)
