Description: For the second year running, fireworks will be set off from various heartland locations on 31 December 2021. There will be no fireworks at Marina Bay to prevent large crowds from gathering in the precinct, and to mitigate the risk of transmission of COVID-19.

Tonight with WOKFUNK: Class of 2022
Description: Tonight with WOKFUNK: Class of 2022 caps off the year with a night of pop, funk, hip hop and more from some of Singapore’s most prominent and rising young artists.
Curated by WOKFUNK and Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, the class of 2022 features live performances of six prolific and fast-rising artists: Marian Carmel, Akeem Jahat, Vivien Yap, Sambal Snake, Dominic Chin and Owen Li. The artists will be showcasing new tunes that will only be released in the coming year, along with popular covers and interview segments with the WOKFUNK duo acting as host.
Come and get to know each of them a little more in this late-night style show, accompanied by the WOKFUNK live band, with guitarist Leo Goh of Finger Funk Party and pianist Euntaek Kim.

Trees of the World 2021
Description: The Singapore Botanic Gardens’ Trees of the World 2021 brings together the Gardens, the community and our partners, to bring festive cheer to Singapore’s favourite green space and raise funds for the Give to the Gardens programme. The 200 trees on display across the Gardens are decorated by donors, community groups and members of public, and will be lit from 7pm to 12 midnight daily, between 4 December 2021 and 2 January 2022.

Waterfront Promenade Light Installations And Projections
Description: To add to the festive cheer, part of the Marina Bay waterfront promenade adjacent to Marina Boulevard will also be lit up with special light installations and projections. Each embodying the spirit of creativity and hopefulness, the installations aim to offer visitors an uplifting experience as they walk through a kaleidoscope of colours on a treetop canopy, immerse themselves in a galaxy of stars, pose with an installation comprising lighted inflatable bird structures, or contemplate an abstract clockface projection display.

Share The Moment
Description: MBSC 2022 will bring back Share the Moment, a series of light projection shows in partnership with the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) and in support of its vision for a City of Good. These light projections will feature original artworks by local students, who were inspired by the stories of this year’s President’s Volunteerism & Philanthropy Awards nominees. Their illustrations portray heartwarming moments where people have come together to give their best for others during difficult times.
Nightly light projection shows will transform the facades of The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, the ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands and the Merlion into a storytelling showcase.
A 5-minute animated light projection show will play every 15 minutes, with the last show at 10.30pm (last show at 11.45pm on 31 December)
